Rank 2. Straight Flush (Example 5c 6c 7c 8c 9c
Rank 3. Quads (Example Kd Ks Kh Kc 5d)
Rank 4. Full House (Example Js Jd Jc 3h 3d)
Rank 5. Flush (Example As Ts 8s 4s 2s)
Rank 6. Straight (Example 2d 3h 4s 5c 6h)
Rank 7. 3 of a kind (Example 9h 9s 9c 4h Qs)
Rank 8. 2 pair (Example 5c 5d Qs Qh Ad)
Rank 9. 1 pair (Example 6c 6h 3d Ks Jc)
Rank 10. High Card (Example Ad Ks 7h 5c 3s)
Should you have the same hand as your opponent, then kickers will play if 5 cards havent already been used to make the hand. Eg with 2 pair, your best other card out of the 3 left will act as your kicker.
In every case in holdem you are looking to make your best 5 card hand from the 7 cards available to you (2 in hand and 5 community cards face up)
