Holdem Tips
Tip 1 - Be careful not to overplay weak aces, eg A5, A6, A7, A8
Tip 2 - Try to be the one betting (or raising) rather than the one calling. That way there is always some chance of them folding, as well as the chance of you winning by having the best hand
Tip 3 - Dont let a player have a free card. Eg If you think they are drawing to a straight or to a flush, then make sure you make them pay to see another card
Tip 4 - Always keep an eye on the blind size in relation to your stack size. Dont let you stack get too low before going all-in
Tip 5 - Try to guess what your opponent has by the way they have played the hand. This may highlight to you some good opportunities to bluff or to make value calls
Tip 6 - Be careful not to commit too many chips pre-flop (esp from early position) if you have a deepish stack. With so many players to act, you dont want to be "forced to fold" by a re-raise without even getting to see a flop. Or Alternatively you dont want to feel obliged to call a raise because you've invested so many chips into the pot already
